The second annual Caitlyn's Crusaders Bull Riding is already scheduled for June 10th, 2022 at the Sandhill Rodeo Grounds. With more than $1000 in added money, this event hopes to bring in Canada's best Bull Riders as well as raise money for the MS Society, a charity that offers hope for Multiple Sclerosis patients such as myself.

September 4th, 2018 was a day that forever changed my life when I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. The weeks and months following this diagnosis offered many doctor appointments, MRI's, and a lot of wondering what my next steps should be. I was then directed to the MS Society of Canada, specifically the Saskatchewan branch, and through this I found others like me along with tools to navigate my new life. I participated in the MS Walk hosted by the MS Society and decided to form my support systems into a team. I rallied my friends and family together to create Caitlyn's Crusaders MS Walk Team and over the past three years we have raised close to $24,000 with our fundraising efforts that include bake sales, 50/50 draws, guaranteed prize draws and, now, summer rodeo events.

I have worked in the rodeo business since 1999, and it truly is in my blood. I have worked for nearly a thousand different rodeo performances and have attended many more. In 2021, I hosted my own Bronc Match and Bull Riding events, which were not only huge fundraising victories, but were also fun, community-oriented events that brought all ages together through one of Saskatchewan’s favorite summer activities. This summer, I plan for these events to bring even more people and raise more funds towards the MS Society, all in support of helping others who suffer from the debilitating symptoms of Multiple Sclerosis.

The event will be free to spectators with a donation to the MS Society, which will be collected at the gate. There will also be a 50/50 sale along with other fundraising activities during the event itself. Your support for this event would be invaluable and appreciated by not only me, but everyone who is involved with the MS Society of Canada. Thankfully, I have been able to keep event costs relatively low as a majority of the staff required have volunteered their time and stock contractors have donated some stock. Your sponsorship will help to provide added money to the event, purchase the championship knife and help me to give back to the volunteers.
